It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Beth Muthoni Douglas.

Loving wife to the late Douglas Gichobi. Co-wife to the late Cecilia Murango and the late Winnie Wambura.

A cherished mother to Madrine and Alex Maiteri, Irene and Nick Kariuki, Millicent and Peter Nderitu, Lucy Wambui, Loice and Michael Muriithi, Ann Wakuthii, and Judy and Evans Mugi. Step-mother to Loice and Peter Gakungu, Edith and James Nyaga, Rosalind and Jamleck Muraya, Mercy Muthoni, Lydia and Patrick Gakungu, Esther and Ephraim Kariuki, Purity Wangechi, Emily and John Mundia (US), amongst many others. A grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting at All Saints Cathedral today from I 700hrs and at her home at Konyu Mudge Sub-location, Kirinyaga on daily basis.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Hospital Funeral Home on Friday 10th September, at 7.00am, for burial at her home in Konyu, Kirinyaga County.
