CHARLES ANGIRA MIKURA

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Charles Angira Mikura on 11 Nov 2020.

He was the son of the late Mikura Ka Gombe and Omollo and son-in-law to the late Wilson and Caren Nyagowa of Kojwach. Loving husband of Susan Angira. Most adored father of Job Angira (Sango), Lona Odongo (Kosele), Elly Angira (State Dept of Public Works – Kakamega), Sospeter Angira (Williamson Tea – Kaimosi), Joshua Angira (Kibigori), Milka Oweke ((Koguta), Ann Cas Allen (California USA), Ruth Angira (Nairobi) and Dr. Gerald Wasena (St. Peters Orthopedic Hospital – Uthiru). Beloved Brother of Maurice Mikura, Caren Oguta, the late Margret Oindi, Jane Ondoro. Charles Angira Mikura Jane Kamu, Mary Obaje, Akeyo, Siprosa Madala, Arleta, Abuor, Oyombe, Kaundo and Mboga Mikura among others.

Loving Father-in-law to Eunice Ornollo, Dr. Odongo Were, Benta Okoth, Rose Eboso-Angira, Pelesia Ounda and Molly, Gilbert Oweke, Cas Allen and Mercy Koech Wasena. Loving grandfather of Nester, Charles, Susan, Meggie, Winnie, Charity, Randy, Roy, Sylvia, Ron, Ray, Remmy, Eddy, Susan, Daisy, June. Robin, Reiny, Larry, Yuni, Sammy, Jimmy, John, Charlie, Lucky, Grace, Omondi, Faith, Senior, Junior, Sossion, Shakina, Bethel, Joe, Hawy, Jerry II, Nana and Sue. Great grandfather to many.

The cortege will leave the Star Hospital Mortuary Kisumu on 27th November 2020. The funeral service and burial will take place on the 28th November 2020 at his home in Sango, Kaman, next to Nyadina primary school.
