DAMARIS NJOKI KAMAU

With humble acknowledgment of God’s win, we herald the elevation to splendour of former councilor Damaris Njoki Kamau, H.S.C, from Gatuanyaga Location, Mukawa Sub Location, Kiambu County.

Damaris Njoki Kamau was the late Ruru wa Kande’s and the late Teresia Nyambura’s daughter. She was also the loving wife of the departed Samson Kamau Muthungu, as well as the co-wife of the late Naomi Warigui Kamau. Damaris Nioki Kamau’s children included John and Bibian Kimotho, Joseph and Mary Mburu (Kimush), Jeffrey and Margaret Ruru, Samuel and Irene Mwacha, Nancy and Elly Esilaba, the late Jane Kabura and the late Stephen Mwangi. She was also Waruathia’s. Mburu’s, Kabura’s, and the late Mwangi’s stepmother.

She was grandmother to Njoki, Nimo, the late Kamau, Njeri, Wokie, Shiru, Kenni, Njoki, Cindy, Kamau, Kihumba, Ndicho, Nienga, Nioki, Kamau, Derrick, Jose, Njoki, Opisa, Micheal. She was also a great grandmother to many others, as well as a great great grandmother to many more.

She was additionally the sister of Samuel Kang’ethe, The late Mwatha, the late Beatrice, and the late John Mbuthia, as well as Auntie to many.

Friends and family are gathering at her home in Muguga, Gatuanyaga on a daily basis to plan her funeral.

The funeral will be held on March 1st, 2022. The cortege departs from the Montezuma Funeral Home in Kabati, at 8 a.m. for the funeral service at the N.I.C.A church in Ngoingwa at 10:00am. The burial will thereafter take place at her home at 2:00 p.m.
