DANIEL WESLEY WOKABI CHEGE

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of Daniel Wesley Wokabi Chege on 17th June, 2021.

Son of the Late Julius Chege Mwangi and the Late Elizabeth WanjikO Chege. He hails from Gide Village, Withaga location, Marang’a County. Husband of Joyce Njeri Wokabi. Brother of the late George Washington Mwangi, the late Kenneth Ndegwa, Catherine Muthoni of U.K, John Mungai and the Late Edward Irungu. He was a step-brother to Muthoni, Nyambura, Mwangi, Ndegwa and Kiraga.

Father of Wilson Kamau, the late Elizabeth Wanjiku, Loise Wanjiru of Germany and Julius Chege. Grandfather to Matthew Levy Wokabi, Cyril, Leroy, Levis, Joy and Michael. Father-in-law to Angelina Chepchirchir and Peter Schimdt. Uncle and brother-in-law to many. Son-in-law of the late Mwalimu Titus Kamau Micah and the late Michelle Waniira Kamau.

The cortege departs from the Murang’a County Mortuary on Friday 25th June, 2021 at 9.00am for the funeral to be held at his home in Gitie Village, Withaga Location, Murang’a County.
