It is with deep sadness that we announce the promotion of David Mwea Muhia, which occurred on 18/06/2021.

Son of the late Muhia Thairu and the late Wanjiku Muhia. Brother of the late Mary Wangui Kambo, the late Thairu Muhia, the late Wanjiru Miitii, the late Marion Wachera Wandia and the late Susan Muthoni Gachugu.

Husband of Nelius Njeri Mwea. Father of the late Margaret Wanjiku Godfrey, Eng. Charles Mwangi Mwea, Evanson Kamau Mwea, Reuben Thairu Mwea and Hellen Wangari Mwea. Father-in-law of the late Godfrey Mwangi, the late Tabitha Mwangi Mwea, Veronica Wanjiku Kamau and Mercy Nyambura Thairu.

Grandfather of Alice Njeri Kiiru, Lucy Waithera Kamau, Sophia Wambui Andrew, the late Jane Wangari Kimani, Ruth Wanjiru Mbogo, the late Naftaly Macharia, the late Nicholas Mwea, the late David Mwea, Nelly Njeri Mwangi, Margaret Muthoni Mwangi, Caroline Njeri Kamau, Edwin Mwea, Cynthia Wanjiru Kamau, Maina Thairu, Nginya Thairu, David Mwea Thairu, Njeri Thairu and Kaniaru Thairu.

Family and Friends are meeting at Eng. Charles Mwea residence Thika and Kiambugi Village, Gathukeini, Murang’a County for Prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Murang’a County Referral Hospital Mortuary on Friday 25th June ,2021, at 9:00am for funeral service and Burial at his Kiambugi Farm. Covid19 protocols will be strictly observed.
