The family of the late Mzee Kasmir Mandere Onyancha regret to announce the sudden death of Mzee (Dr.) John Atunga Mandere, which occurred on the 4th November, 2021, at Nyamira Referral Hospital, Nyamira County. He hailed from Makairo Village, Ibucha Sub-location, Bogichora Ward, West Mugirango of Nyamira County.

Son of the late Mzee Kasmir Mandere Nyamaronge Onyancha and the late Mama Selina Moraa. Step-son to the late Jerusha Kerubo and Julia Penina. Beloved husband to Mama Rebecca Nyaboke. Loving father to the late Wilfred Ontita, Kenneth Kemosis Atunga (Doha, Qatar), Gerald Mong’are Atunga (Kenya Consulate, Los Angeles, USA), Eric Matoke Atunga (Nairobi) and Polycarp Nyatigo Atunga (KMFRI, Mombasa). Beloved Father-in-law to Anne Mueni Kemosi, Josephine Wayua Mong’are, Advocate and Sara Kathambi Nyatigo.

There will be a Requiem Mass at Ibara Parish, Kebirigo on Thursday 18th November,2021,at 2.00pm.The funeral service will be held on Friday 19th November, 2021, as from 9.00am, at his home in Makairo village, West Mugirango, Nyamira County.
