It is with deep sorrow that we, the family of Francis Stephen Nyajur, regret to announce his demise in Nairobi, after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Leonard Yambo and the late Mama Paskalia Yambo of Seme Kanyadwera, Kisumu County. Loving husband of Pascaline Nyajur. Son-in-Law of the late Francis Okomo Otado and Mama Leonora Odinya Okomo of Mfang’ano Island, Homa Bay County. Father of Anita Nyajur, Marylin N. O’Connor and S.E Munga Nyajur. Father-in-Law of Joseph O’Connor. Grandfather of Zahara O’Connor, Perine O’Connor and Gabriella O’Connor.

Brother of Prof. Mauri Yambo, the late Joe Yambo, Consolata Migowa, Dommie Odotte, Anastasia, Yambo, Charlie Yambo, the late Philip Yambo, Irene Okoth and the late Karrol Abuodha. Brother in-Law of Joan Yambo, the late Millicent Yambo, Cyprian Migowa, the late Fred Odotte, Abe Okoth, Melanie Yambo, Sophie Yambo; Josephine Awich, Dorothy Ongeso, Jane Otado, David Okomo, Lawrence Rumbika, Maureen Okomo, Michael Okomo, Tom Okomo, and Paul Okomo. Uncle of many nephews and nieces, and friend to many.

Requiem Mass will be held at Consolata Shrine, Westlands, on Friday, December 3rd, 2021 at 02:00 PM.

Body arrives at his home in Seme Kanyadwera, Kisumu County, on Monday morning, December 6th, 2021. Burial will take place the same day at noon.
