It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden and sad demise of Geoffrey Wamwea Wanjau of Teleflex Medical Technologies, which occurred on 28th September, 2020 through a tragic road accident along Nyeri-Nairobi Highway.

Husband of Faith Kaburo (Nairobi Sports House). Son of the late Mr. John Wanjau Kang’ara (Brother) and Mrs. Clarice Wambui Wanjau of Sagana, Kirinyaga County. Loving dad of Tiffany Wambui Wamwea (Bishop Gatimu Ngandu) and Tessy Kendi Wamwea (St. Christopher, Nanyuki). Son-in-law of the late Reuben Muriithi and Mrs. Lilian Kendi Muriithi from Nanyuki. Brother of Lucy Nyawira Wanjohi, Andrew Gitari Wanjau, Irene Muthoni Nyori, Christopher Mwangi Wanjau, Catherine Njeri Wanjau, Madrine Wangechi Muriithi and Jacqueline Wachera Wanjau. Brother-in-law of Mercy Kananu, James Mwenda, Charles Wanjohi Wahome, Anne Gitari, the late Cyrus Nyori Mbugua and Patrick Muriithi Mbaka. Uncle of Rachel Wanjohi, Wahome Wanjohi, Wanjau Wanjohi, Karuku Wanjohi, Ponziano Gitari, Ngatia Gitari, Mbugua Nyori, Wanjau Nyori, Kago Nyori, Wambui Muchiri, Munene Muriithi, Wanjau Muriithi, Anaya Rose Muriithi, Collins Njoroge, Emmanuel Wanjau, James Waruru and Tatiana Makena.’Grandfather’ of Skylar Wanjugu Muchiri. Cousin of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his family home at Sagana and at Ambassador Hotel on Friday 02/10/2020 and Saturday, 3rd October, 2020.

The cortege leaves Kibugi Funeral Home, Kutus on Tuesday, 6th October 2020 at 8.00 AM and the funeral service shall be held at his father’s farm, Kiamakuru Thanju, starting from 11.00 A.M. and thereafter he will be laid to rest.
