HENRY CHEGERO BARANG’A

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Henry Chegero Barang’a which occurred on 5th June 2020 at his home in Kapkerer, Nandi county.

Son of the late Kefa Barang’a and the late Sarah Midega Barang’a of Mbale, Vihiga county. Husband of Florence Nyangasi Chegero. Father of Sharon Barang’a (NTV), Michael Barang’a and Elvis Murera. Brother of the late Ann Chemwor, Joseph Adagi, Mary Ingasia, Morris Lugalia, the late Joshua Mulindi, Selina Shamiah, the late Jemimah Milimu, Abigael Chessie and Dorothy Agufana. Cousin, uncle and grandfather of many. Son-in-law of Tom and Regina Chogo. Brother-in-law of Laban Chemwor, late Priscilla Barang’a, Francis Kutondo, Beatrice Lugalia, Evans Shamiah, Party Milimu, Richard Agufana, Abdi Chogo, Ken Mugo, Humphrey Mbayagi, Betty Kadenyi among others.

The cortege leaves St. Monica Hospital in Kisumu on Friday 12th June, 2020. Funeral service and burial will take place at his home in Kapkerer, Nandi county on Saturday 13th June, 2020.
