LAWRENCE SHIBUTSE SHITIABAYI, (RTD) CHIEF INSPECTOR OF POLICE

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Lawrence Shibutse Shitiabayi (Rtd Chief Inspector of Police) who went to be with the Lord on 07/06/2020 after a long illness.

Son of the late Mzee Harun Shitiabayi Ilavonga and the late Mama Priscilla Khakayi of Imambo village, Mukongo Sub-Location, Shibuye Location, within Shinyalu Division of Kakamega East District. He is beloved husband of the late Tifinah Malesi, Josina Makhaya and Carolyne Ayuma. He is brother of Jeridah, Benson, Francis, Charles, Richard, the late Lihavi, Tabitha, Fredrick, and Joshua. Father of Everlyne (Kangundo Hospital), Violet (Huairou Commissioner), Maxwell (George Khamini Secondary School), Carolyne, Canon, Jacklyne (Nandi Hills), Rose (Shidodo Primary School), Amos, Gerald, Julius and Godwin Goddy. He is a brother-in-law, uncle and nephew of many. Father-in-law of Dominic Mbindyo, the late Hurst Murila, the late Duke Obobe, Doreen Magotsi, Musyoki, Ignatius, Emily, Anne, Sharon, and Elyne. Grandfather of Walter, Frith, Stallone, Oscar, Ian, Leon, Natasha, Brian, Clare, Lisa, Nicole, Sharon, Max, Cynthia, Prince, Pearl, Elsie, Tessy, Andrew, Ethan, among others.

The cortege leaves Mukumu Mission Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 12/06/2020 to mother Imambo village then to Shibuye – resting place in Shiasaba sub-location for burial on Saturday, 13/06/2020,
