HUMPHREY MWANDIKI MUTUNGA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will and with heavy hearts that we announce the promotion to Glory of our beloved Humphrey Mwandiki Mutunga which occurred on the morning of 20th January 2023 at K.U Referral & Teaching Hospital.

He was the doting son of the late Josphat Mutunga Baikithia and the late Eunice Muyia Josphat.

Husband to Doris Mukwanyaga Mwandiki. Father to Caroline Kangai, Martin Mugendi, Mike Muriithi, Lesline Gatwiri, Filex Mugendi (Blanka) and David Mwenda. Father-in-law to Martin Muriithi Kaburu, Karimi Mugendi, Carol Mike, John Miriti and Doreen Kinya.

Loving Brother to the late Eliphas Njagi Josphat, Ashford Miriti Mutunga, Prof. Jane Igoki Murungi, the late Joyce Muthoni Riungu, and Damaris Keeru Kibata.

Brother-in-law to the late Agnes Mukwanyaga Njagi, Jocelyn Muthoni Miriti, Prof. Robert Murungi, Eng. Julius Riungu, late Gilbert Kibata, ldah Njagi, Eliphas Mugo, Jane Kiambi, Gilbert Mutembei and Helen Mbae.

Grandfather to Muthomi, Ngugi, Kawira, Mukiri, Fernanda-Sarah, Kanana, Neema, Zawadi, Munene, Kendi and Mutugi. Cousin, uncle, and friend to many.

Family, friends and relatives are meeting at All Saints Cathedral daily from 5:30PM, his home at Gitombani sub location, and at Chogoria to make funeral arrangements and to raise funds to clear the outstanding medical bill.

There will be a fundraising meeting at All Saints Cathedral on Friday, 27th January 2023 at 5:30pm and a memorial/fundraising fellowship on Sunday 29th January 2023 at CITAM Thika Road along Lumumba drive from 3:00PM.

The burial will be at his home Gitombani village on Friday, 3rd February 2023.
