IAN GERSHOM MARANGA

It is with thanksgiving I announce the passing on of Ian Gershom Maranga a resident of Nairobi County in Karen and Nyeri County in Mathira Constituency.

Ian is the son of Phyllis Christabel Wambura Maranga (commonly known as Wambura wa Maranga or Mama Phyllis) of Nairobi County in Karen and Nyeri County in Mathira Constituency. He is a loving brother to Mrs, Cordelia Brayer of Israel. A loving uncle to Wambura and Brayer of Israel. A loving uncle to Wambura Mugo of Nairobi County and to Johannah and Jocely of USA among many other nieces, nephews and cousins. He is an admired nephew to his many uncles; aunties; surviving grandparents and friends and business associates. lan was an exceptional man to his girlfriend Barbara Wangari Gathiru.

Ian met his instant death through a road accident on Langata Road at Langata Cementry/ KWS on August 15, 2020. Ian had chosen, spoken loud and clear how he wanted his remains to be handled by cremation. He was cremated on August 17, 2020.

I thank God for the years that he loaned my son to me and that he did not allow Ian to suffer. I also thank God for his goodness that runs after me that in all this and through it all my soul still blesses the Lord and has been my standard. God snatched the soul of Ian to be absent from me and present with the Lord. Bless the Lord oh my soul, worship his holy name, sing like never before and bless his holy name.
