LUCY WACHINGA THUNI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lucy Wachinga Thuni.

Daughter of the late Wachira wa Kibiri and the late Muthoni Wachira. Sister of the lates Njeri Kihiu, Wangari Kaigu and Peter Gatutu Wachira. Loving wife of the late Joseph Thuni Wahome. Mother of Wahome, Wanjiru, Wachira, Wangombe, Nderitu, Muthoni, Mwangi, Muriithi, John Thuku, Wangui and Wambugu (Solar Rays Nairobi). Mother in law of Wamaitha, Wangechi, the late Muthoni, Wanjiru, Wambui, Wairimu, Waruiru, Gathira, the late Kingori, Ngatia and Kariuki. Aunt, grand and great grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting at her home Othaya Gatuyaini Village for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Outspan Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 10/09/2020 at 8:00am for funeral service at the Gatuyaini Catholic Church ground and thereafter for burial at her home in Gatuyaini Village, Othaya sub-county Nyeri county.
