ISAKA NYABERI OGEGA

 24th April, 1939 – 30th January, 2022

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the death of Mr. Isaka Nyaberi Ogega of Nyakegogi that occurred on 30th January, 2022, at Mediforte Hospital in Kisii after a short illness.

Son of the late David Ogega and Eunice Onsiba Ogega Isaka was preceded in death by his parents and some of his siblings. Isaka was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife Agnes Nyanduko Nyaberi, Children David Ogega Nyaberi (USA), Rael Nyanchama Michira (USA), Sakawa Ogega (USA), Moraa Byers (USA) and Hon. John Mainama Nyaberi (Asp. MP Bobasi). He was Father-in-law to Naomi Nyaberi, Wilfred Michira, Beatrice Nyaberi, Marshall Byers, Dorothy Kemunto Mainama, Norah Nyaboke and Dorothy Ogega.

He was grandfather to Dr. Okemwa Monandi, Nyankuru Ogega, Robert Ogega, Djimmon Ogega, Ndege Ogega, Onsiba Ratemo, Musa Ogega, Gabble Onsiba, Carlos Obori, Juanita Onsiba, Obama Nyaberi, Billiah Nyaberi, and Shem Nyaberi Great grandfather to Mauncho and Kerubo.

He was the brother to Jane, Ratemo, Zipporah, Ongera, Moige, Benjamin,Tumbo, and Truphena. He was brother-in-law to Nyamache, Nyaboke, Moraa, Elizabeth, Joyce, Loise, Nyabonyi, Queen, Videlis, Jane, Teresia, and Juma.

He was korera to Pacificah & the late Enock Onchagwa, the late Paustina and the late Clement Moya, Billiah and the late James Mokaya, Lutisha Dillard and the late Marshall Byers Sr., Nancy and John Okeri,Alexina and the late Gabriel Mauncho, and Meshack and the late Jerusha Nyamwaya. He had a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends, relatives family are meeting daily at his home in Nyakegogi Village (Itumbe).

The funeral service and burial will be held on Friday, 25th February, 2022 at his home in Nyakegogi Village, Kisii County.

All Covid19 protocols will be adhered to.
