JAMES MAINA KABIRU

01.01.1929 – 20.01.2022

With Thanksgiving, we wish to announce the passing to glory of our father James Maina Kabiru, which occurred on Thursday, 20th January 2022 at the age of 93yrs.

He was the beloved husband to the late Josephine Waruguru Kabiru. Son of the late Tabitha and Kabiru Kameme of Murang’a County. He worked at the East African Community and later at the Income tax now KRA until his retirement.

He was the father of Jedidah and Alfred Dladla, Jeniffer and the late Lameck Uzele, Jemima and the late Hasso Bernau, Joanne and Werner Eicher, Joyce and Jack Odongo,  Joe and the late Jane Kabiru, Jayne Watson and Janette and Sekou Rubadiri.

Grandfather to Siphiwe, Abigail, Nomathemba, Uvonji, Maina and Kiki, Charlene, Jaaz, Shaq and Zamar, Valerie and Marvin, Vickie, Nyambura, Gathoni, Rachel and Chiku.

Great grandfather to Temawelase, Thandiswa and Ndumiso, Lindokuhle, Lungelo, Zion, Zuri and Avery. He was the brother to the late Eunice Wambui Mwaniki and Daniel Mwangi Munyi Kabiru and brother-in-law to Alice Wairimu Mwangi.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and thanksgiving at the residence of Janette and Sekou Rubadiri in Karen.

Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
