It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of James Ngatia Macharia of Ngatia Today’s Fashion (Ngacha Plaza).

Beloved son of Macharia Wambugu and the late Regina Macharia. Loving husband of Saumu Kendi, doting father of Mirk Macharia, Mitchel Wanjiku and Benjamin Kimathi. Brother of Sammy Wambugu, the late David Maina, Samson Wandere, Charles Gathungu, Moses Kamau and the late Peter Kamau.

Son-in-law of Ismail Mwara and Sina Karuga. Brother-in-law of Edith Wambugu, Kathure Maina, Kagwiria Wandore, Beatrice Gathungu, the late Kelly Gacheri,  Kamau, Purity Kamau, Shaban (KEMU), Sofie, Mwiti, Zaina, Jacob and Mariam. Cousin, Uncle and friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his father’s home in Gitimbine behind Tosha Petrol Station, from 3.00pm and at Rex Inn Restaurant, Opposite Mwalimu Plaza, Meru, starting from 6.00pm, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home (Mwendantu), on Thursday 13th January, 2022 at 9.00am, for a funeral service and burial at his father’s home, Gitimbine, Meru County.

Ngatia, we loved you but God loves you more. Rest in His everlasting arms.
