JAMES NJAU GACHOMO (WA PHAN)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. James Njau Gachomo, formerly of Ministry of Lands, that occurred on Friday, 7th January, 2022.

Son of the late Ephantus Gachomo Kibogo and the late Hannah Wangari Gachomo. Son-in-law of the late James Kamau Muhia and the late Sarah Wambui Muhia. Husband of the late Mary Wairimu Njau. Father of Ephantus Gachomo (I&M Bank), Caroline Wangari (Sterling Craft Ltd), Kennedy Kamau and Jackson Maina.

Father-in-law of Samuel Muriuki, Everlyn Wangari and Margaret Njeri. Brother of the late Jackson Kamande, Esther Kabura, the late Joyce Muthoni, the late Mary Nyambura, Nahashon Mwangi, Simon Ngugi, Grace Wanjiru and Geoffrey Gatheru.

Grandfather of Angel Muthoni, Vivian Wangui, Stephen Chege, Nolan Njau, Abliana Wairimu and Travis Njau.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home Kannunyaka, Kiumu village, Ndunyu-Chege and at Blue Springs Hotel – Thika Road, starting at 6.00pm, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave General Kago Funeral Home – Thika Level 5 Hospital Mortuary on Thursday, 13th January, 2022, at 8.00am, followed by a funeral service and Interment at his home Kamunyaka, Kiumu village, Ndunyu-chege in Gatanga Sub-county, starting at 10.30am.
