It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Jane Njeri Gichui, that occurred on Friday, 8th October, 2021.

Daughter of the late Duncan Mwangi (Mutungu) and the late Margaret Wanjiru Mwangi. Wife of Francis Gichui Karanja former Senior Lecturer Murang’a Teachers College. Mother of Allex Karanja (Equatorial Ltd), Michael Mwangi (Femic Ltd) and David Kihiko (Apec Ltd). Sister of Francis Waithaka, Josphat Gicheha, Mercy Wambui, Mary Wanjiku, Daniel Njoroge, the late Gikuru, Maina, Gachau and Muigai.

Sister-in-law to Eng. James Karanja (Apec Ltd) and Simon Thiaya. Grandmother of Antony, Nathan, Banice, Felix, Princess, Sallyann, Shyne and Glen.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Makomboki village and at her son’s Michael Mwangi residence in Thika Section 9, starting at 5.00pm, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Kabati Kenol, on Friday, 15th October, 2021, at 8.00am, followed by a funeral service and burial at her (Kiahiti farm), Makomboki Location, Kigumo Sub-county, Murang’a County, starting at 10.00am.
