JOHN BAPTISTA KARIUKI NDEGWA (BROTHER JOHN)

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of John Baptista Kariuki Ndegwa (Brother John). Which occurred on the 2nd October, 2021, at Outspan Hospital Nyeri, following a short illness.

Son of the late Philemon (Filimino) Ndegwa and the late Ann Gathoni. Beloved husband to Catherine Njeri and Susan Nyokabi. Father of Duncan Ndegwa, Ann Gathoni, David Wahome (Canada), Moses Githinji, Nelius Wamuyu, Haron Mwangi, Zachary Miano, Esther Nyambura, Sammy Ndegwa,Wallace Kago, Brian Thuku and Sandra Wanjiru. Father-in-law to George Munge, Sandra Wahome (Canada), Francis Mwangi, Elizabeth Wangui, Cyrus Mwangi, Margaret Njoki and Denis Miriti.

Brother of Maria Purity, Joseph Thuku, Peter Wachira and the late Kariuki (Muru wa mundu). Loving Grandfather to Njeri & Jb Ndegwa, Mbaire, Munge, Njeri & Noni Munge, Zion & Sahara Wahome, Kariuki & Kamau Githinji, Lewis, Gilbert, Wangari & Ndegwa Mwangi, Njeri Mwangi, Njeri Miano, Grace & Jimmy Mwangi, Wambui & Kariuki Ndegwa.

Family and friends are meeting at his home Kimathi Estate in Nyeri Town from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan) – Nyeri on Friday 8th October, 2021, at 8:00am. Funeral service and burial will take place on the same day at Narumoro – Gatuamba village, Nyeri County. NOTE: Covid- 19 protocols will be observed as per Government guidelines.
