JOHN MAAMI MURAGE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mzee. John Maami Murage which occurred on 1st October 2021 while undergoing treatment at Kenol Hospital.

Son to the Late Murage Kamami and late Wangui Murage. Husband to Milicent Wanjiru Maami and late Charity Mbaire Maami. Father to Stanley Muya Maami & Beth Waruguru Muya, Marion Wangari Githinji & Peter Githinji Gakuru, Kenneth Murage & Alice Wangari Murage, Mercy Muthoni Maami (Shinning Hope for Communities — SHOFCO), Dorcas Wamunyu Mwangi (Kenpipe SACCO) & John Mwangi Macharia (Kenya Pipeline Company), Kellen Njeri Githuku (Cooperative Bank) & Rev James Githuku Mwangi (ACK Diocese of Nairobi), Boniface Mwangi Maami and Mary Wagaki Mwangi, Charles Maina Maami and Samuel Mbiyu Maami. Grandfather and a great grandfather to many.

Friends and family are meeting at his home in Gathuki-ini village, ACK St. Andrews Zimmerman and AIPCA Bahati Cathedral Lounge from 6pm for prayers and funeral preparations.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa funeral home-Thika Road on Friday 8th October 2021 at 7.30am. The funeral service will be held at ACK St Michael Gathuke-ini church grounds from 11:00am. Thereafter, the burial will take place at his home in Gathuki-ini village, Gaturi location, Kiharu Constituency, Murang’a County. All MOH Covid protocols will be observed.
