JOSEPH CHEGE NJENGA

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the departure of our friend Joseph Chege Njenga (Mwalimu Njenga). He was admitted at KU Research Referral Hospital, where he passed on, on the 29th of October, 2020 while undergoing treatment. He was a Nurse Tutor at Our Lady of Lourdes Mwea Mission Hospital. He will be missed by Our Lady of Lourdes Fraternity.

Husband of Lillian Nduta Njoroge. Father of Emmett Prentice Njenga. Beloved son of the late John Njenga Muthu and the late Mary Assumpta Nyambura. Beloved brother of Thomas Maina, James Ngigi, Catherine Wanjiku, Lawrence Ndungu and Ann Wairimu. Uncle of J.P. Assumpta, Janet Woki, Mike, Jose, Maurice, Cate, Ann, Wanga, Rafo, Leon, Gabriel, Tiffany and Mark. Son-in-law of Rose Wambui and Wilson Nioroge. Brother-law-law of Anthony Maina, Nicholas Maina, Kalonji, Susan Nioroge, Ann Njoroge, Stella Kwatemba, Marystella Maina. Cousin of Angela Nyawira, Rose, Njoroge, Waithaka, & Mose. He will be missed by his friends Merioth, Kanana, Kamaa, Beth, Mwafusi, Steve, Kioko and the extended family.

Friends and family are meeting daily at their Umoja home also for a fundraising on Monday 2nd November 2020 at 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Wednesday 4th November, 2020, at 6:30am, Headed to Nakuru, Kiptangwanyi.
