It is with profound sadness, that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Matriarch Julice Caroline Adhiambo Owino Okwero, on Thursday 10th June, 2021, at 5.00am.

She was the loving wife of Eng. James Owino Okwero. Daughter of Samson Midiwo and Margaret Waringa Midiwo (departed). Daughter-in-law of the late Patrick Okwero and Mama Anna Aluoch Okwero. Loving mother of Lynn Owino, Ken Okwero, Maureen Ochieng, Evelyn Okwero, Diana Waringa, Maryanne Owino, Stephen Otieno, Oscar Okwero, the late Benjamin. Mother-in-law of Reba Mukhwana Okwero. Guardian mother of Alice Atieno Obiero. Grandmother of Imani, Hawi, Zani and Ethan.

Sister of Festus Odima (departed), Prof. Jacob Ogweno Midiwo, Jennifer Akinyi Matara (departed), Dr. George Jalang’o, Aoko Midiwo-Odembo, Hon. Jackoyo Midiwo, Pamela Akoth Midiwo Osoro (departed). Sister-in-law of Roseline and Jacob Ochieng Okwero (both departed), Dr. Mary Okwero Oduol, Grace Ogonya, Dorcas Warinda (departed), Amb. Elkana Odembo, Betty Jackoyo, Kim Jalango, Dr. Janet Midiwo (departed) and Allan Osoro.
