LYMPIA WAIRIMU GICHUKI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Lympia Wairimu Gichuki, on 10th June, 2021.

Daughter of the late James Mugo and the late Lydia Njoki Mugo. Beloved wife of the late Elsaphan Gichuki King’ori. Mother of Solomon King’ori, Dr. Shelmith Wangari Muthee (Maua Methodist Hospital – Meru), James Mugo and Martin Mwaniki. Mother-in-law of Tonny Muthee. Grandmother of Claire Wambui, Charles Munene, and Renee Wairimu Muthee.

Daughter-in-law of the late Suleiman King’ori and the late Shelmith Wangari King’ori. Sister of the late Elizabeth Wanjugu Gaita, Gladys Wamuyu, the late Dickson Ndegwa, Campbell Kambo, Isaac Waithaka, Winfred Wanjaria, the late Josephine Njeri Karongo, Winfred Wangui and Rashid Mugane. Sister-in-law of the late Tirus Mwaniki, Milkah Nyawira, Philip Kariuki and Margaret Wanjiku Githinji. An aunt and cousin to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Ngangarithi, Nyeri at 5.00pm daily for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan) on Thursday 17th June, 2021, at 8.00am for service at Gaithuri PCEA Church at 11.00am, and burial thereafter at her home next to the church.
