It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lucy Chelangat Rator, of Boito Pillage, Rongai that occurred on Saturday 27th February, 2021.

Wife of the late Pr. Samwel Maritim Rator. Daughter of the late Kibii Arap Kombich and late Tapkigen Kombich of Kimotwet Bomet County. Mother of the late Pr. Richard Maritim (Ngererit Village, Bomet), Jane Ruto (Barotion, Londiani), Lily Murgor (Nakuru), Emily Kirui (Kapcheptoror, Kericho), Geofrey Maritim (Boito Rongai) and the late Bernard Maritim. Mother-in-law of late Ann Maritim, Bernard Ruto, Stanley Kirui, the late Paul Murgor and Janet Maritim.

Sister of the late Taputany, Fundi Bii, Edwin Bii, Kimibei Bii, the late Obot Tapkenkwony, the late Tapnyolei, the late Mosonik Bii, the late Turai Bii, Maria Tele, the late James Bii, the late Kipkirui Bii, the late Jonathan Bii, Hellen Ngeno and Dr. Leah Bii. Grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Funeral Home, on Friday 5th March, 2021 at 2.00pm for her Home Boito Farm Rongai for a night vigil. Funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday 6th March, 2021, at the same place.
