It is with Gods will that we announce the untimely demise of Venerable Joyce Mutitu Cendi which occurred on 26th February, 2021, after a short illness. She was Vicar Sagana Parish, rural Dean Sagana Deanery & Archdeacon Thiba Archdeaconry in ACK Diocese of Kirinyaga.

Wife of Venerable Alexander Cendi, director of Stewardship, ACK Diocese of Kirinyaga. Daughter of the late Elias Namu and Gladys Kanini. Daughter-in-law of late Starnely Ndei and Jemimah Ruguru Mother of Mary Nyawira (KCB Bank), Philip Munene of Sagana and Tabitha Muthoni of Jeremiah Nyaga (Vocational Institute), Embu. Sibling of Peter, Ephantus, Eliud, Patrick and Samuel. Mother-in-law of Ken Walthungu and Peris Nyawira. Grandmother of Alvin, Alex, Florence, Alexander and Joyce.

Prayers and meetings are going on daily at ACK St. Paul’s church Sagana starting at 4.00pm.

The cortege will leave ACK Mt Kenya Hospital Mortuary, at 9.00am, on Friday 5th March, then the Service will be at ACK St Thomas Cathedral, Kerugoya and thereafter the body will be laid to rest in the family’s farm at Kiamwenja Village, Kanyekine and Kirinyaga Central Constituency.

Ven Joyce you have fought a good fight may your soul rest in eternal peace.
