MAMA PENINAH MAERA GISEMBA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved matriarch Mama Peninah Maera Gisemba on the 07/07/2020.

Wife of the late James Gisemba, co-wife of Anna and Jane. Daughter of the late Philip Gekonde and the late Dinah Mandere. Loving mother of Norah, late John, Grace, Yabesh, late Florence, late Richard, Beatrice and Violet. Stepmother of Dorcas, Mariam, late Kepha, Tom, Hellen, Edna, Duke, Edward, Eric and others.

She was the loving sister of late Rosebella, late Samuel, Martha, late Esther, Miriam and Milka. Sister-in-law of late Machini, Omurwa, Osano and others. Mother-in-law of Samson, Florence, late Samuel, late Joyce, late Carol and Kennedy. Cousin of the Omwega’s, Nunda’s, Obiri’s and others. Doting grandmother of Philip, Phyllis, Marsden, Lameck, Dennis, Gloria, Bryan and others. Cherished great grandmother of many.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 15th juicy 2020. The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home at 5am on Thursday, 16th July 2020, for burial at her Mwongori home, Nyamira County.
