NATHAN MUTURI WATHIKA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mwalimu Nathan Muturi Wathika which occurred on 08/07/2020 at Kijabe Hospital due to cardiac arrest.

He was son to the late Stephen Wathika Muturi and Phyllis Wairimu Wathika. Beloved husband to Margret Wanjiku. Father of Phyllis Wairimu & Antony Mungai, Stephen Wathika, William Chege & Catherine Wanjiru, Joshua Mburu, John Kamau (USA) & Mary Wanjiru. Brother to Joshua Mburu, James Ngirau, Samuel Wanjau, Regina Wangari, Jonathan Muiruri and Peter Mwangi. Son in law to the late William Chege and Mary VVambui.

Brother-in-law to the late John Kamau, Harrison Macharia, Moses Waweru, late Joseph Mwangi, James Kinyanjui, Fresiah Njeri, Beth Wanjiru, Samuel Njunge, Joyce Nyambura and Ruth Wariu (USA). He was an in-law to Dr. Gilbert Njuguna & late Edith Mumbi, the late Francis Mburu & Veronica Njeri and the late Mwalimu Benard Karomo Mburu. Grandfather to Victor Njuguna, Nathan Muturi, Margret Wanjiku and Lisa Mumbi. Uncle and cousin to many.

The cortege leaves Kijabe Hospital Mortuary at 8.00am on 14/07/2020. The funeral service and burial will take place at his farm in Bongo, South Kinangop, Nyandarua County.
