MARY ASEWE ANYANGO

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing away of Mrs. Mary Asewe Anyango, formerly of Pyrethrum Board of Kenya, which occurred in Nairobi on the 17th September, 2021 after a long illness.

She was the loving wife of Dr. Julius Anyango, formerly of K.A.L.R.O. Thika. Loving mother to Kelvin Odhiambo, Anna Akumu, Sandi Okello and Jack Ombado. Grand Mother to Sarah Akinyi, Nathan Onyango and Jude Nana.

Daughter to the late Marcellus Nyatol Odongo and Huldah Atieno Nyatol of Kanyamkago, Migori County. Sister to the late John Okeyo, the late Herine Awuor, Violet Akoth, Mahalath Ngure, Olga Auma, Benta Nyatol, Jackson Oyugi, Kenneth Nyatol. Others are Peter, Evans, Judith, Alphline among others.

Cousin to Ruth Ojwang, Esther Owilli amongst others. Sister in law to Henry Ojuok, George Anyango, the late Elizabeth Owuory and the late Jennifer Arondo, among others. Aunty to Asher, Ruth, Felix, George, Paul, Esther, Denish amongst others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Kahawa Sukari where we shall hold a funds drive to defray hospital and burial expenses on Sunday, the 26th September, 2021 from 2.00 pm. Burial will take place at her home in Kanyaluo (Oywer) Kendu Bay Sub county, Homabay County on Thursday 30th September 2021.
