We announce the death of Mrs. Mary Cheruiyot Kotut, which occurred on 29th September, 2021.

Daughter of the late Chebet Chepkeitany and the late Magdalene Kimoi Chebet. Wife of the late Col (Rtd) Pius Kimuge Kotut. Mother to the late Romulus Kipchumba, the late Bruno Kiprotich, Ezron Kibet, Maureen Kemboi, Abigael Cheruto and Cyprian Kipkemoi.

Sister to the late Chesanai Chebet, Flora Teriki, Paulina Teriki, Alfred Chebet, Francis Chebet, Philomena Teriki, Luka Chebet, Lucia Kipyego, Rosalina Chemjor, James Chebet and Albina Kisabei. Sister-in-law to the late Nicholas Kotut, the late Christina Kosgei, Dr. Phillip Cheruiyot, the late Wilfred Chepkeitany, Charles Kotut, Emmanuel Kotut, Joan Kotut, Jacinta Kotut, the late Walter Kotut, Felix Kotut, Elijah Kotut, the late Michael Kurgat, Veronica Chemweno, Consolata Kurgat, the late Ambrose Kurgat, Cleti Kurgat, the late Benjamin Kurgat, AgnesTamai, Bernadette and the late Evaline Kurgat.

Daughter-in-law to Salome, Christina and John Kotut family of Kaptarakwa, Catherine, Agnes & Thomas Cheptiony family of Kamariny Iten. Mother-in-law to Rosbella Jepkoech, Naomy Boen, Wesley Chumba, & the late Kibet Kiptum. Auntie to many and grandmother to 14 grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Racecourse Hospital Mortuary today 7th October, 2021, at 2.00pm and burial service will be held at her home in Kaptagat Flax (Kapkaoni village), on Friday 8th October, 2021, starting from 9.00am.
