It is with profound grief and humble acceptance of God’s will and his sufficient race that we announce the promotion to glory of our dad Mr. Samuel Tharao Wachiuri.

Son to the Late Nahashon Wachiuri Tharao and the late Mary Nduta Wachiuri and a step-son to Harriet Wambui Wachiuri. A loving husband to the late Mrs. Ruth Wanjiru Tharao. Adoring dad to Jacqueline Tharao – Kamau & James Kamau Komu (USA), Yvonne Nduta Tharao (Madison Group) and Michael Wachiuri Tharao. Devoted Guka to Shane Muthui, Sean Tharao, Jason Kamau & Jada Kamau (USA). Brother to the late Margaret Wanjiru, the late George Wainaina, Grace Wanjiku, the late Ann Mumbi, Edward Ngure & Eunice Ngoiri. Step-bother to Francis Tharao, Phillip Kariuki, Janet Wanjiru, Isabelle Nyambura, Edward Ngure and Francis Gathungu. The late Wilson Tharao.

Brother-in-law to Njambi Gitonga, Murua Mwaura, Karanja Mwaura, Florence Njeri Njoroge, the late Wanjiku Mwaura, Pastor Kinyanjui Mwaura, Nene Mwaura, Njoroge Mwaura & Captain Michael Mwangi. Beloved son in-law of the late Edwin Mwaura & the late Charity Wairimu Mwaura. He was a loving uncle, nephew, cousin & friend to many.

The cortege departs from Lee funeral home on Friday, 15/10/2021 at 9 am for a funeral service at ACK St. Andrews Kongothiria, Kirenga. We will lay him to rest at Kabaa.

In life, we loved you so very dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, no one else will ever fill.
