It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Francis Wanyama Matepe (Waziri) of Tulumba village, Muanda Sub-location, Bumula Sub-county, Bungoma County, which occurred on 12/12/2020, peacefully in his sleep.

A loving son of the late Bonface Khaemba Matepe (Omusiucha) and Mama Elizabeth Nasiebanda (Omuleyi). Beloved husband of Elemina Nasike (Omuala Omukoyabe). Doting father of Prudenciana (Rtd nurse), Mary (RtdTeacher), the late David, Priscah, Joseph (Webuye DEB Sec.), Anne, Peter (Regional Surveyor, Rift Valley), Benedine (KDF, Eldoret), Godfrey (MTC, Lugari), and Fred (KDF, Isiolo).

Beloved grandfather of Johnson Sitati, Nickson Wanyama, Billians Ndenga. A great-grandfather of many. Brother of Pius, the late Raphael, the late Namutenda and others. Beloved cousin of Mang’oli, Yakobo, Father-in-law of Jimmy, Francis, Janet, Grace and others. Uncle of Protas, Werunga and others. Brother-in-law of the late Prows Nyongesa of Tulumba village.

The cortege leaves Life Care Mortuary, on Friday 18/12/2020. Funeral and burial services will be on Saturday 19/12/2020 at Tulumba village.

You have fought a good fight, you have finished the race, you kept the faith. Hence forth there is laid up for you crown of righteousness.
