It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Naphtali Wamburu Kihato Kihunyuro after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Kihato (Kihunyuro) Kaburu and Naomi Wanja. Son-in-law to the late Stephen Kihara Njogo and Margaret Waithira Kihara. Husband of Mary Nyambura Wamburu. Father of Wellington Kihato Kihunyuro, the late Stephen Kihara, Richard Waithaka, Martha Wanja Kariuki, Johnson Maina, Margaret Waithera and Ephraim Muriga. Father in law of James Kairuki, Elizabeth Muthoni Kihato and Eunice Wangechi Maina.

Grandfather to Jean, Joan, Jadon, Janine, Lilian, George, Martin, Joy, Ian, Evaline, Evaniah, Joy, Seth, Ezra, Ann, Anne, Esther and Jane. Brother of the late Richard Waithaka, the late Mary Wanjiru, the late Ephraim Muriga and the late Ellen Muthoni Irungu. Brother-in-law to, the late Richmond Maina, Kennedy Waituika Kihara, Douglas Ngeteta, the late Antony Muthaa and Nancy Njoki. He was nephew, cousin and uncle to many.

The cortege leaves Consolata Kiria-ini Funeral Home on Friday 4th September 2020 at 8am for funeral Service and burial at his home in Kiangugi village, Kiru location, Murang’a County.
