PROFESSOR SILVESTER ALBERT NAMUYE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Professor Silvester Albert Namuye. He succumbed to health complications on the 24th of August 2020, having undergone medical care since the year 2000.

Son of the late Pius Albert William Oguro & the late Maria Nangira Oguro. Loving husband of Doiphine Nakhulo Machio. Son in-law of the late Thomas Mbaye Machio & Dina Nakhumicha Machio. Loving father of the late Catherine Akello Namuye, Maria Nabwire Namuye – Ayugi, Matayo Mudebu Namuye and Alberito Oguro Namuye. Father in-law of Kevin Ochieng Ayugi and Christine Wanjiru Muchiri. Grandfather of Innocent Silvester Namuye, Sophia Rini Adora, Jamie Hawi Ayugi, Suri Amore Ayugi and Nathaniel Christopher Namuye. Brother of the late Rocky Wesonga Oguro, the late Cindrarella Oguro,Tuesday Oguro,Auleria Apondi Oguro, Night Oguro,Thadeos Oguro, Gloria Ogurof Catherine Ajwang Oguro and Catherine Wesonga Oguro.A friend, cousin, brother-in-law and uncle of many.

Prof. Namuye will be laid to rest on Saturday 5th September 2020 in Sio port – Funyula Sub-County, Busia County.
