It is with sorry and humility that we announce the death of Raphael Mbogo Wanguo. He hails from Makutano, Kiandu village, Unjiru Sub-location, Karundu location, Tetu Sub-County, Nyeri County. Formerly of Shell BP.

Son of the late Peter Wanguo Muchiri and the late Jane Wangari Wanguo. Brother of the late Harrison Waiganjo Wanguo, the late Joseph Munyoro Wanguo, the late John Kararu Wanguo, Francis Muchiri Wanguo, Peter Munyoro Wanguo, Aurelia Gathoni Wambugu, Lawrence Weru Wanguo and Margaret Wachuka Gitonga.

Brother-in-law of the late Mary Wanjiru Waiganjo, the late Lydia Wanjiru Munyoro, the late Jecinta Wambui Kararu, Anastasia Muthoni Muchiri, the late Elizabeth Wanjiku Munyoro, the late Linus Wambugu and Charles Gitonga. Uncle of the Waiganjo’s, the Munyoro’s, the Kararu’s, the Muchiri’s, the Wambugu’s, the Weru’s and the Gitonga’s. Grandfather and great-grandfather of many.

Meetings and prayers are taking place daily at his residence at his home in Makutano from 3p.m.

The cortege will leave Consolata Mathari Hospital Mortuary on 14th October 2021 at 8.00am for Funeral service at Kiandu Catholic church and thereafter burial rites at his home in Makutano.

Raphael, you have been a blessing to the universe and an icon to the family.
