REV. PETER WANYOIKE KIMITI

27th May 1929 – 17th October 2020

It is with deep regret we announce the passing on of Rev. Peter Kimiti after a short illness.

He is husband to Gladys Njeri, father to Ile late Gideon Kimiti, Rev Samson Mwaura, Kamande Wanyoike (South Africa), Kamau Wanyoike, Elizabeth Wanjiru Alai, and Levi Wanyoike. Father-in-law to Agnes Watetu, Andrine Kagu, Diana Mwaura, Peter Mulli (US), the late Anita Mungai, and Mercy Hiribae Wanyoike. Grandpa to Peter and Miriam Wanyoike, Sarah and Thomas Musyoka, Lilian and Keneddy Muraya, Carol Wanjiru, Amani and Dana Mwaura (US), Immanueli Mwaura (US), Christian Mwaura, Njeri Kamande, the Late Andre Wanyoike Kamande, Seth and Winile Mulli (SA), Syovata (US), Tinashe Multi (US), Hiribae Wanyoike, Timame Njeri Wanyoike and Sifa Wanyoike. He is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be on Friday 23rd from 12.30pm at Ridgeways Baptist Church, off Kiambu Road.

The funeral service will take place in Murang’a on Saturday 24th, at PCEA Kahuho grounds, near Sabasaba and onward to burial at his home in Kahuho village.
