RICHARD BERE MBUGUA

It is with profound sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Richard Bere Mbugua that occurred on 22nd January 2022.

He was the beloved husband of Rev. Dr. Judy Wanjiru Mbugua, Founder and CEO of Homecare Spiritual Fellowship. He was the devoted father to Njeri Bere, Alex Wainaina Mbugua, Njambi Mbugua, Robert Mbugua, and Kahara Mbugua. He was a dear Father-in-Law of Catherine Wainaina, Josephine Ngotho and Hellen Kahara.

He was a friend and grandfather of Kena Bere, Wanjiru Wainaina, Mbugua Wainaina, Kamau Wainaina, Baraka Wainaina, Judy Ngotho, Joanne Ngotho, Pele Kahara, Simaloi Kahara and Wangai Kahara.

Son of the late Timon Mbugua Kahara and the late Esther Njambi Bere, brother of the later Mrs. Eunice Wanjiru Nganga, Mrs. Rahab Kabura Njenga, the late Mrs. Damaris Gachigi Michobo, late Mrs. Gladwell Muthoni Gathu, the late Mr. Chris Kahara Mbugua, Mrs. Daisy Mingina Mwangi, and the late Mr. Edward Muchene.

He was son-in-law to the late Hosea Wainaina and Isabella Njeri Wainaina. He was a brother-in-law, cousin, uncle and a dear friend to many.

On Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th January 202Z from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, family and friends will be meeting at CITAM Karen, off Langata Rd for prayers and remembrance of the life of the late Mr. Mbugua.

Family and friends will convene at Lee Funeral Home at 8:00am on Friday 28th January 2022 for viewing of the body.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home at 9:30am for the memorial service at CITAM Valley Rd at 10:30am. The memorial service will be followed by a private burial ceremony on the same day.
