ROSE WAMBUI MWANGI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rose Wambui Mwangi of Roses Variety and formerly of IOM.

Wife of James Mwangi Gatundu (formerly of Central Bank). Adored mother of Stella Muthoni (USA) and Michael Gatundu (Carpet City). Daughter of the late Kibera Gachau and the late Mary Muthoni Kibera of Kiangima, Mathis. Daughter-in-law of the late Michael Gatundu and the late Teresa Nyambura. Sister of Diana Kibera (formerly of OP), Joseph Gachau, Elizabeth Wangui Wangai, the late Priscilla Wanja Kanyoro, Godfrey Gatheru Kibera, the late Nancy Wangu Mwaura, Eunice Wamuyu, Nicholas Githaiga and Danson Wahome.

Mother-in-law of Philip Najeme and Pauline Makena. A doting grandmother of David Woteve Najeme, James Mwangi Najeme, Bakhita Wambui Gatundu and an aunt of many. A sister-in-law of the fate John Ndarahi, Saveriah Wairimu Migwi, the Late Serah Gathoni Gikandi, Bertha Wanjiru, Anthony Kaigai, the late Zachery Mucherni of Kaheti, Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri.

A requiem mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church in Buru-buru on 18th February, 2021, from 2:00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral Hospital on 19th February, 2021 at 7.00am for burial at her home in Kaheti, Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri.
