A loving wife to Mzee John Ojuka Tindi of Kamser Osika Village, Karachuonyo. Co-wife of Mrs. Loice Obuya Tindi. Mother of Irene Tindi (Sportz Invest Afrika), Jack Anyona Tindi, Nick Ojuka Tindi, Valentine Gwendo Tindi (KEMSA) and Rita Gona Akinyi (Mt. Kenya University). Step-mother of Faith Anyango Tindi (USA), Allan Joe Tindi (Kenya Police), Eric Odero Tindi, Ben Osongo Tindi, Philip Okoth Tindi (NCBA Bank), Sherine Tindi (Safaricom) and Lydia Tindi. Mother-in-law of Dr. Noel Onyango (UoN), Ivy Douglas (Kenya Airways), Evelyne Kavata Muema (Mwalimu National Sacco) and Gladys Kibathi.

Grandmother of Mapenzi Njira, Roma Ebenezer Owuoth, Hawi Matilda, Waridi Njira, Rayan Solomon, Ainsley Neema, Leo Jones, Sofan Ezekiel, Brian Kenji, Shawna Arayah Mlanya, Taiwo Yuna and John Keiran.

Daughter of the late Mzee Ezekiel Gwendo and the late Mama Eudia Gwendo. Sister of the late Truphosa Amolo, the late Phoebe Akeyo, the late Clement Oyare, the late Walter Otieno and Milka Adhiambo Ndieri. Sister-in-law of Esther Nyando, Hannah Ojwando, Phyllis Ogana, Susan Anyona, Doreen Anyona, Rebecca Ariko, the late Samuel Ogana, Sultan Onyina, Jonathan Rabala, Oduya Angir, Edward Oduya, Obare Amboro, and an aunt and friend of many.

Mrs. Ruth Ojuka will be laid to rest on Monday, 21st June, 2021, at her home in Kamser Osika Village, Nyakongo Sub-location, Karachuonyo North Constituency, Homabay County.
