SUSAN NJAMBI GACHIRI

28th October 1952 – 14th January 2021

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the sudden demise of Susan Njambi Gachiri which occurred on January 14, 2021 at the Nairobi Women’s Hospital, Ongata Rongai.

She was a teacher at Arap Moi Primary School in Nkoroi untill her retirement.

She hailed from Merisho – Nkoroi, Nkaimurunya Sub-location, Ngong, Kajiado County.

Daughter of the late Mr Jesse Kamau & Mrs Teresia Nyaguthii Kamau. She was a sister to Anna Gathoni Muli, the late Lawrence Maina, Lucinia Wahiga, Chrysanthus Gicheru, Christopher Githaiga and Joseph Kanyange.

Wife to Mr Allan Gachiri Ragi (Executive Director – KANCO) and mother to Allan Ragi Gachiri, Njeri Gachiri and Rita Wanjiru Gachiri. She was grandmother to Ryan Gachiri Ragi and Samuel Gachiri Ragi. She was a cousin and an aunt to many.

Daughter-in-law to the late Mzee Allan Ragi and the late Rahab Wahinga Ragi.

Sister-in-law to Monicah Wangechi Muchiri, the late Wanjohi Ragi, the late Zipporah Wanjiru Kamau, Margaret Wangui Wachira, Jane Wakonyo Timothy, Mbuthia Ragi, Wachira Ragi, Mwangi Ragi, Grace KagureWahome, Njoroge Ragi and Peris Wambui Maina.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Merisho – Nkoroi, Nkaimurunya Sub-location, Ngong from 6.00pm for burial preparations.

She will be laid to rest on Thursday 21st January 2021 at her marital home in Merisho – Nkoroi, Nkaimurunya Sub-location, Ngong, Kajiado County.

In God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you remain forever. Rest in eternal peace.
